Architect Labs builds an AI system that automates custom chip design and verification, targeting the architectural planning stage rather than downstream physical design. It is aimed at organisations and AI labs that need custom silicon rather than off-the-shelf parts. The team is drawn from Anthropic, DeepMind, Intel, Meta and xAI and is credited with more than 80 prior production tape-outs; Reuters reported around 18 staff at the time of the seed round. No customers or revenue have been published.
